In this post, we will look at all the Home Village Sceneries that we received in all these years and which one we think tops the chart and lastly did we really need to buy all the incoming sceneries or we could have just picked and chosen. If you never purchased any scenery in the game before, nothing to worry about as you will get a feel of what those sceneries would have meant to you and your villages depending on what Town Hall you are. Chances are some of you must have purchased a few of them and immediately thereafter you go “The previous one was a bad buy and will think twice the next time a new one hits the store”. Don’t worry, we all have rued bad buys at some stage in one way or another. It has happened with Top YouTubers in the game too.
Before we start reviewing the sceneries one by one and rank them one over the other, we have to be on the same page that The Sceneries are meant to beautify the village and should be aesthetically pleasing just like any movie’s special effects are meant to please the eye but it’s woeful lack of story would be an absolute boredom to endure.
There have been a total of 19 sceneries in the game. Wow! That’s quite a lot. Let’s take a brief look at them one by one.

Our Opinion: It reminisces all the past Town Halls in the game.

Our Opinion: The tiles are pixelated.

Our Opinion: Anything that alters the nature of the original base doesn’t look cool.

Description: Densely forested. A Waterfall and cliffs at the back. A beach stretches across the entire front.
Arrival & Availability: Since its inception, by default available for all when its variant is not active.
Our Opinion: Evergreen

Our Opinion: The Tiles are now much more visible. The little pixels in the game, you know.

Description: Everything’s got black except. You would rather pass than buy it for some bucks.

Description: A forest bathed in snow. Stunning visuals.

Our Opinion: Maybe for some TH12 players..

Description: Green and Gloomy atmos within a spooky graveyard. Halloween-themed. A giant pumpkin hut can be seen near the waterfall, a foggy graveyard with buildings and pumpkins in the bottom right corner whereas a ghostly boat with a dock features in the bottom left corner. Last but not least features a deadly cave with some huts and a few cauldrons.

Our Opinion: Not my taste, this hallo-based theme. 1/365 day theme only with coc Halloween theme music in the game.
Clash-Guide Rating: 4/10
Description: Full party atmos inside a pine forest, some Skeletons performing on a fiery lava-themed stage. Party Wizard, Party Goblins, and some Barbarians performing too at the top right, another corner features a carnival with a Ferris wheel, and last but not the least a P.E.K.K.A effigy is being burnt. Not a good look though, P.E.K.K.A doesn’t deserve to die, does she?

Description: Jungle Forest surrounded by mountains, and scattered stones, Goblin’s Head Statue stands out on the bottom right.

Our Opinion: Well balanced, good texture and doesn’t affect the playing area.

Description: a grass plateau on top of the stone jungle temple with the red and gold theme, a small emerald-colored pool and a waterfall behind Jungle Warden, two Goblin heads on either side of the river where the boat rests, and last but not the least some constructions works and market stalls are visible on the bottom right.

Our Opinion: Lovely. One of the majestic rivers of the world, anyone?

Description: A plateau surrounded by rocks, a fish market, Chinese-themed settlement with two baby dragon statues.

Our Opinion: Just beautiful. Good texture, vivid screen

Description: A tropical area, a beach settlement, and a majestic castle surrounded by several water bodies. The cliff of the waterfall has Skull shaped cove. Sharks can be seen in the lagoon occasionally.

Our Opinion: ..but only for winter days, can’t have it every day of the week.

Description: This completes the set of Pirates. We had Pirate King and Pirate Queen as part of Gold Pass skins

Our Opinion: Blends well. Neat and clean. I have it enabled.

Description: A pine forest, the waterfall has its usage, the beach is now a dock.

Our Opinion: Lazy artwork, Builder Base, someone? Ah! The only thing good about this scenery is it doesn’t interfere with the playing field.
Clash-Guide Rating: 6/10
Description: Same as Autumn with added ice and snow details.
Arrival & Availability: Replaces the default scenery during Winter Season.
Our Opinion: Not bad but again uncalled for and should have the option to switch to the Classic (Normal).

So, there have been more than enough sceneries in the game. There is a chance for them to return but then again we haven’t seen any come back as yet. Do you remember how bad we wanted some of the Hero skins to return, the scenery in all likelihood would return to shops someday for sure without a doubt. If someone’s willing to buy it, I’m sure Supercell’s willing to sell it. Sooner than later we will get to shop the scenery. We might have to purchase them with Gems or some real currencies except for Bitcoins, as they are still not the legal tender in most parts of the world or unless Elon Musk himself intervenes and decides to buy some shares of … You read it right.
