COC 2022: TH15 & BH10 Update - 10th Anniversary Cake & Upcoming Events

Overview:

In this article, we will look at the upcoming events in COC 2022. After the addition of the Clan Capital in the game. The speculations of a Brand New Town Hall in TH15 and a Brand New Builder Hall in BH10 are very high. We will look at their prospects as well as their impacts and implications in the game. We will also discuss the immediate June Gold Pass, Clan Games, Clan War League Tournament, and other upcoming events.

TOWN HALL 15

Clash of Clans TH15 Update in sighter:

Finally, th15 has arrived!! Yes, October 11 Update is most likely to feature Town Hall 15. There will be so many upgrades to go with it. Following are the New Updates at TH15:

One New Elixir Based troops at Barracks Level 16.
4 New Pets as the Pet House level increases to level 8.
200 level 16 Walls to upgrade at the beginning.
+5 levels each for existing Heroes.
+5 levels each for new and existing Pets.
Defenses and Troops to get +1 level of upgrade each.
As far as the army is concerned: +5 space for each Army Camp (320 slots overall), +5 space for Clan Castle Troops(50 troop capacity overall), Spell Factory (11 slots overall), The Lab, and the WorkShop to receive their immediate next level.
Note: All Elixir-Based Barracks will function as one, and the same for Dark Elixir-Based Barracks. This will apply to the game and is effective for every town hall.

Builder Hall 10 Release Date Confirmed?

Supercell hinted in its last post that the team wants to focus on this mode of the village too. Currently, it’s marred with random results. You do a good attack and lose and sometimes you do badly and win. It has happened with everyone in the game. I will give you a couple of my own examples. I usually play over 5000 cups. I get 70-80% 2 stars and think I have done well only to see my opponent has done better. At another, I would do badly and get 30-35% 0 star, and I win. Any player over 4000 cups would not only want consistency in terms of destruction% but also in results to an extent. Even if you lose it doesn’t matter much as long as you get good destruction%.

It was May 22, 2017, when the Builder Base aka Versus Battle aka the Night Village had first arrived in the game. And the last Builder Hall (BH9) was released on June 18, 2019. Therefore, it’s a long time due. It almost felt like Supercell had sidelined it for reasons unknown. While we received TH12, TH13 and TH14 upgrades for our Home Village, there were no updates about the Builder Base at all apart from the one that I heard from one of the members on the COC Reddit community forum say that BH9 and a corresponding Clan War for it are possibilities for Versus Battles going forward a long time back. Every year since 2020 it felt like BH10 wasn’t too far away but none of the major updates included it.

Builder Hall 10 Update in Pipeline?

Indeed, without a doubt. A simple mention of Builder Base in the latest post from Supercell says it all. The only question is when and now how? Leave the later part to Team Supercell.

Clash of Clans 10th Anniversary Updates

COC 10th Anniversary Update Release Date:

Nothing feels like the anniversary update in the game. It is that time of the year when most of the clashers return to the game for a number of reasons.

When is the COC 10th Anniversary?

If we talk about the COC 10th Anniversary release date, it’s homecoming on 2nd August.

1-gem Army Boost & Upgrade Reduction:

We do get a 7-day 1-gem army boost in the Anniversary Week alongside various upgrade reductions in costs and time.

Clash of Clans 10th Anniversary Cake:

This is one of the reasons why most of the clashers return to the game. Oh! Boy! Nobody wants to miss that, it’s nostalgic. Even those who have stopped playing want to see have a piece of it. Don’t you worry about the piece. We get plenty of them. It’s time to block the base with a maximum of 1×1 tile so that we receive the COC Anniversary Cake right on our lawn so that we don’t have to implement any shovel of obstacles.

Just looking at the trends this year on a monthly basis below are the skins we have had until May.

Shadow Queen (January Gold Pass)
Warrior Warden Skin (February Gold Pass)

Therefore, we might have either of Grand Warden or Royal Champion Skin as part of the June Gold Pass skin.

August CLAN WAR LEAGUE (active)

Clan War League Tournament:

When you hear about the CWL, the first thing that comes to our mind is how wrong its algorithm was to start with and continues to be. It needs a radical overhaul to bring some context to this league. It’s gone too far without a proper look-in. However, there doesn’t seem to be any plan from Supercell. There was just no mention of it in their recent plans. It’s quite frustrating really.

The only thing good about the league is its rewards. They are very precious and premium in the game. Let’s take a brief look at the COC Clan War League Rewards including the War Medals.

Clan War League Rewards:

Resource Rewards: Attack on Battle Days fetch Gold, Elixir and Dark Elixir.
Loot Bonus: If your team wins, you get a 2X loot bonus.
War Win Bonus: The bonus is added to the treasury at the end of each war.
Clan xP: Your clan also receives clan experience similar to regular Clan Wars.
War Medals: You get War Medals based on which league your clan is in, the number of wins in the tournament and the number of war stars scored by the player
Bonus League Medals: The leader/co-Leader gets to distribute the bonus war medals to his/her clan members. The number of players receiving the bonuses increases by one each time your clan wins a game in the clan war league tournament.
Rewards for enrolled players into the roster: Even though an enrolled player leaves the clan or gets kicked out, he/she is still eligible for the rewards.

August LEGEND LEAGUE (ends in)

LEGEND LEAGUE:

The features of the Legend League aka the League are as follows:

The League resets on Monday of every month at 05:00 UTC.
The league spans 4, sometimes 5 weeks.
All players in the Legend League have their trophies reset to 5000 cups at the end of the league. Players need to take 1 attack to get placed in the legend league again.
Players competing outside the legend league get unranked too.

August CLAN GAMES (arrives in)

CLAN GAMES:

The COC Clan Games usually start on the 22nd of every month. It spans 6 days. The players get an additional 7 days to collect the rewards before the Strongman’s Caravan is gone.

SEASON:

A season in Clash of Clans lasts a calendar month to avoid confusion. This means that the month season starts at 08:00 UTC. It is also the time when the season bank loot payouts occur.
